Wicked: For Good is where Elphaba’s story hits an emotional climax. The reason why she is in hiding is not that she is a threat to others, but she is being chased. Glinda, on the one hand, feels conflicted between desire for fame and a close friendship. The citizens of Oz are very demanding and require an explanation, so she has to make a decision. With the increase in gossip, Glinda cannot forget the girl who used to share books, laughs, and dreams. Being fed up with others not getting her, Elphaba is ready to put everything on the line in order to prevent the dark scheme. Eventually, both witches understand that their decisions not only determine their destinies but also the destiny of Oz. Their relationship, despite being tested, is still evident after each storm.
